The mission of herScience is to encourage young girls (ages 8 to 12) to get excited about science. Research has shown that girls are lagging behind boys in the subjects of math and science and our goal is to encourage an interest in science by teaching them via science projects involving the use a microscope along with suggested activities that will be fun for young girls and their friends.
